My Story
Twenty-eight years ago, I sat in a beauty school chair in Tucson, Arizona and decided I was going to dedicate my life to creating beauty.
I didn’t rush the path. I spent two years as a dedicated apprentice learning from stylists whose combined experience spanned decades. Then I moved to Dallas, worked as a commission stylist at an Aveda salon, came back to Tucson with a clear vision, and in 2004 I built something of my own.
Adriana Hill Salon & Co. was born.
What I Was Building Then
I wanted a Tucson hair salon where luxury and comfort weren’t in tension with each other. Modern and minimalistic, but warm. Soft hues, layered textures, clean lines — a space that felt like a breath you didn’t know you needed. A place where creativity and beauty had room to exist.
That vision hasn’t changed. What’s changed is everything else.
What I’m Building Now
Three years into our current location, I see my role differently.
I’m not just a stylist. I’m a builder.
I’m not only building a business, I’m building people. I’m building systems. I’m building a salon culture with enough structure and soul that it carries my DNA — with or without me standing behind the chair. That’s the work I’m most proud of right now.
I work with an apprentice at every reservation, and that’s not an accident. Pouring into people is the part of this career I love most in this season. Watching someone grow their confidence, sharpen their skills, find their footing as a stylist — that fuels me in a way that nothing else does. I’m not just developing stylists. I’m deeply developing people beyond the four walls of my salon.
The Craft
I’m an Invisible Bead Extensions® (IBE®) certified stylist and one of a select number of IBE® specialists in Tucson, AZ. IBE® is the original patented flip-up extension method, and it’s the only extension method I trust enough to build a specialty around.
My guests don’t just get hair extensions. They get a scalp evaluation, a placement strategy, and a stylist tracking the long-term health of their hair — not just how it looks walking out the door.
We also specialize in curly hair, Brazilian Blowouts, and scalp treatments. Every service in this salon exists because it’s the best version of what it is.
