Extension Hair Care Guide

In order to ensure the integrity and longevity of your hair extensions, please follow the maintenance instructions on this care guide.

Do the following:

  • Wash with Sulfate FREE shampoo. Use K18 leave-in molecular repair mask.

  • Blow dry the top of the hair extensions so it does not hold moisture. Air dried is fine, unless it holds an excessive amount of moisture after one hour of shampoo.

  • Add a small amount of Goldie Locks Oil to the mid shaft of the hair through the ends at least once a day. Avoid the root area & above the seam of hair extensions.

  • Sleep in a low braid or ponytail to avoid matting or tangles
  • Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase.
  • Brush from the ends of your hair moving upward.

  • Brush 1-2 per day to prevent tangling. Section off and brush in-between rows.

  • When swimming, coat your hair in conditioner and wear in a bubble ponytail or tight high bun. Salt water & chlorine can strip the color. If possible use soft water.
