Extension Hair Care Guide

In order to ensure the integrity and longevity of your extensions, please follow the instructions on this care guide.

Do the following:

  • Wash with Sulfate FREE shampoo. Use K18 leave-in molecular repair hair mask.

  • Blow dry the top of extensions so it does not hold moisture. Air dried is fine, unless it holds an excessive amount of moisture after one hour of shampoo.

  • Add a small amount of Goldie Locks Oil to the mid shaft of the hair through the ends at least once a day. Avoid the root area & above the seam of extensions.

  • Sleep in a low braid or ponytail to avoid matting or tangles
  • Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase.
  • Brush from the ends of your hair moving upward.

  • Brush 1-2 per day to prevent tangling. Section off and brush in-between rows.

  • When swimming, coat your hair in conditioner and wear in a bubble ponytail or tight high bun. Salt water & chlorine can strip the color. If possible use soft water.
